The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari v. Shutter Island

The Film Experience website has a regular feature called “Distant Relatives” where a classic film and a modern film are compared and contrasted. Last month, it was the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Shutter Island. It’s an interesting read, and provides a lot of food for thought.
