The Freshman is the Moneyball of 1925

For some nice advertorial tie-in to the release of Moneyball, has a 25 Best Sports Movies of All-Time feature. And, lo-and-behold, Harol Lloyd’s 1925 classic comedy The Freshman is included! Now, I’m not so sure I would necessarily call The Freshman a sports movie,  and I’m not so sure about Moneyball advertorial tie-ins, but I’m always happy to see Lloyd get much deserved recognition.

If you’ve never seen The Freshman, stop what you’re doing and go watch it. Or at least whet your appetite with this clip, and then rent the dvd from Netflix (Qwikster?) or buy it at Amazon.
